About the aQua-TT MCSL
The Aquaculture Co-operative naturally morphed from the Non-financial organization, the Aquaculture Association of Trinidad & Tobago (aQua-TT) after a decade of aquaculture service to our nationals by way of training, seminars, exhibitions and presentations.
Our vision for the future is steeped in the service sphere, where benefits to our members are our major mandate.
Our Fish Farm will be our home and our supply and training center where members can source the necessary equipment and goods required to conduct Best Aquaculture Practices.
A special syllabus for training in aquaculture will be developed and executed for nationals to acquire academic and practical training in Fish Farming and ancillary services.
Fish and other aquaculture species will be raised on the farm as the main function of the organization. Products from members will be bought and processed as a service to farmer members.
Extension services will also be provided to ensure that our member farmers practice a high quality, healthy and profitable business.
Research and development will commensurate after we have properly established our practice. We wish to develop a species of fish that will enhance our members’ profit margin.
Who can become a member of the aQua-TT MCSL?
The aQua-TT MCSL is geared towards persons with an investment in commercial aquaculture practices but not limited to only grow-out of fish such as: hatchery processes, farm construction, processing, feed distribution, aquaponics and the commercial production of aquatic food species.
If you are in need of information or simply pilot or backyard systems or any non-commercial aquaculture activity, aQua-TT can fulfill your needs.
